CART CHUNK STANDARD
Wave audio files are quickly becoming a standard for
exchanging audio among different brand digital audio systems used
in the broadcasting industry. The Cart Chunk format is a non-proprietary
standard that allows additional text data (like title, artist, run
dates, etc.) to be included in the Wave file.
CDS32 is proud to be among the vendors
who sup port this standard. All Wav files recorded with CDS systems
contain the standard Cart Chunk. When importing audio files recorded
on other systems, CDS32 automatically reads their Cart
Chunk data if it Is available.
NOTE: CDS32 can also play virtually ALL
industry standard WAV, Mpeg Layer 2, Layer 3 and many other audio
file formats, whether they contain a Cart Chunk or not.
